Paradrop

Version: 0.5 beta (23. 10. 2006)

About the Game

Paradrop is a simple 3D game simulating accuracy of the parachute drop.

After starting the game the window appears in which game settings can be selected such as the sky, fog or wind conditions. There is the possibility to switch the game to different language. You can set one from three different skies or the construct (the whole sky is white). The wind speed can be set or let randomly generated, eventually switched off. You can set the fog. There is the possibility for the low-performance computers to switch off the ground objects (trees, buildings). You can set the mode of full display (during the game switched between display modes using Alt + Enter).

Pushing the button Play! the game starts. The skydiver is dropped on the specific place over the ground and his/her task is to hit the centre of the target (yellow cross on the ground). During the game the HUD (Head Up Display) indicates actual altitude, direction, distance from the target and information about the weather. There is the possibility to switch the HUD to development mode in which some internal variables are displayed and also the wireframe mode is available.
